Takes One to
Know One
This is a great place to add a tagline.
I am an obsessive audiophile. The kind that just can't sleep at night if the job isn't executed to the highest standard. If a system isn't rigged in such a manner that I can proudly put my name on the project, I'll work doggedly to diagnose and realign the initiatives to better suit a client's longterm success with our designs.
I started selling stereo equipment in (1993?) because it was a steady job that allowed me to play to my strengths -- meeting new people, hearing their ideas, and working to match them with a great system that fits their vision, aesthetic, and budget.
I found that I have a knack for intuiting solutions and presenting options for folks that they wouldn't have known to ask for. That first job as a stereo salesman led me to a thirty year career in client-facing design work that ranged from individual office-sized projects to university-wide departmental overhauls. There is nothing more satisfying than working to configure a thoughtfully designed system that exceeds a client's expectations, and works seamlessly to achieve their A/V goals.
I manage projects from initial consultation, to detailed design, through installation and extensive tutorial. I make sure clients are wired up and feeling like they can manage their A/V systems once I'm gone. Of course, should anything arise after setup and walk-through, I'm just a phone call away with swift assistance!
